Acceptable Use Policy

Community Standards and Communications Conduct for CAASA Connect

1. Professional Demeanor & Integrity

CAASA Connect is an institutional peer-to-peer ecosystem designed to encourage constructive collaboration across alternative investment managers, institutional allocators, and family offices. Members are expected to communicate with the highest standard of professional courtesy and mutual respect.

2. Prohibited Solicitations & Spam

Unsolicited mass messaging, aggressive cold sales outreach, and automated prospecting are strictly forbidden. Direct messaging must be targeted, contextually relevant, and respectful of allocator time. Single Family Office (SFO) areas and investor-only rooms are protected from direct commercial pitch attempts unless an introduction or dialogue was specifically requested.

3. Directory & Data Protection

Members agree NOT to:

  • Scrape, crawl, harvest, or bulk-export data from the member directory or marketplace listings using automated scripts or third-party extensions.
  • Import CAASA Connect contact lists into external marketing automation or cold CRM outreach systems.
  • Misrepresent their organizational credentials, AUM, regulatory status, or institutional taxonomy classification.

4. Security & System Integrity

Users must not attempt to circumvent platform access controls, security policies, token authentication systems, or virtual data room permissions. Sharing credentials or session tokens is strictly prohibited.

5. Enforcement & Violations

Violations of this policy will be reviewed by the CAASA Compliance and Moderation Committee. Corrective actions may range from formal warnings and feature restrictions to immediate termination of membership without refund.
